- Increased awareness and knowledge of social skills limitations.
- Improved ability to initiate, interpret and respond to the verbal and non-verbal social cues used in various settings in the community to avoid unexpected behaviors.

Workers in Training (The Young Men of MCF)

Andrew (Andy) Romanowski - Mountain Creek Farms

Hi, my name is Andy Romanowski.  I'm new here in Virginia.  I work on a great farm called Mountain Creek Farms.  On the farm, they have goats, chickens, dogs, cats, a summer and winter garden.  Jenny Livelli is the owner of Mountain Creek Farms and Paul Livelli is a consultant.  They are supervisors on the farm.  I work with them and Charlie Kaufman.

A little 'bout myself.  I came from Pennsylvania.  My mom's side of the family owned Hayfield Farm and also Hillside Farms.  Hayfield Farms is now Huntsville Country Club and Golf Course.  Hillside Farms we sold and the farm is now called The Lands at Hillside Farms.  I am 21 years old.  Born of the 16th of May in the year of 1990.  I love country and Irish music.  My favorite country song is The Wearing of The Grey by Derek Warfield and my favorite Irish song is Boys of the Old Brigade by The Wolftones' and Derek Warfield.  My favorite show is Stargate SG1.  My favorite tv show is Shark Attack 3D and my favorite one on DVD is Glory.

About the farm.  We earn money working on the farm by the hour.  We milk one of the goats to make goat cheese and also goat milk.  The chickens are for the eggs.  We grow our own food.  We sometime go to the grocery store.  What I noticed about the farm is that you can work hard and don't give up.  You have to have passion, dedication, determination, and motivation to work on a farm and at Mountain Creek Farms.
